American Marriage Survey

With the help of AmeriSpeak at NORC, we conducted a national survey of 2,806 adults in the US in August 2021. Questions focused on attitudes toward marriage (benefits, limits, values), the potential impact of marriage among same-sex couples, polyamorous relationships and marriage, divorce and custody, adoption rights, and attitudes toward LGBTQ people more generally.
